Established in 2013, Sheona Hosie Hair & Beauty was born. Inspired by a dream to create a Lifestyle career for the future of the family behind a small business. A vision to create a 'Livingroom like' space for clients to chill and enjoy being beautified while tapping into their senses with a holistic approach. An environment for Professional individuals to enjoy frequenting as they consult and plan with their clients to ensure they have the same vision in mind for the ultimate hair & beauty aspirations. A place for them to showcase their creativity through science based hair & beauty treatments whilst caring for the natural canvas that they are working on. Our team are here to join you on a journey uplift and inspire you to tap into your inner confidence, caring for you before, during and after the treatments you have during your visit.

My passion for hairdressing lies in maintaining the beauty of the hair's natural strength before, during and after colouring services. If I could do only one thing behind the chair, I would choose to spend my time creating dreamy reflects of highlight throughout a beautiful base of colour. My client feeling relaxed and cared for at every point of their experience. I'm currently enjoying some time off to spend with my motivation behind my career, my babies. During this time, I'm focusing on the behind the scenes running of the Salon.

The biggest drive in my career is creating a fun & relaxed space for my clients, which allows them to leave my chair feeling uplifted and rejuvenated after their visit. I believe that the power of a hair change contributes greatly in lifting a persons mental and emotional condition and nothing brings me greater joy than seeing the positive difference that can make to someones confidence. My two favourite services are colour change, when a client finds the inspiration to embark on a journey from one look to another and Blonding services, creating bespoke results from Brondes to Blondes.

I'm proud to call myself a Hair Nerd. I find so much joy in studying and educating myself in all aspects of hairdressing - from the structure of hair itself, to colour chemistry. Staying educated keeps me elevated. I believe it is so essential to create a relaxing and peaceful environment for clients and enjoy creating a backbar experience for each client with customised treatments and scalp massages, paired with mood-based aromatherapy scents.
My favourite service is highlighting to create glossy 'natural, but better' looks - but I'm not afraid of having some fun with bright colours. Most of my good review clients mention my coffee skills and chat more than my skills - so feel free to come and try those out soon.

The fire behind my hairdressing journey so far is the science behind hair colouring. I'm really enjoying further study with the extensive specialist courses from Redken Education while I unfold each chapter of becoming a Redken Certified Hair Colourist. Since I've started serving clients of my own, my own confidence has grown as I've showcased my creative skills and helped my clients achieve their hair goals.
Outside my career, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family and especially love travelling.
